Nippon Kanzai Holdings Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shintaro Fukuda; hereinafter "the Company") and its group company, Nippon Kanzai Co., Ltd., are promoting the Athlete Career Empowerment Project (ACE Project).
This report details the results of workshops and interviews conducted with players from a professional basketball team as part of this project, focusing on self-reflection.

## About the ACE Project
In recent years, municipalities nationwide have been promoting the utilization of sports-related facilities, including arenas, with the aim of fostering community development and regional exchange centered around sports.
Nippon Kanzai supports the "safe and sustainable operation" of sports facilities and "high-quality services that cater to users" through its maintenance of international sports event venues and security services for large-scale marathon events. Recognizing the challenges of second careers for athletes, Nippon Kanzai is promoting the Athlete Career Empowerment Project (ACE Project)*.
To date, Nippon Kanzai has considered how to understand athletes better, promote Nippon Kanzai's building maintenance business, and explore ways to support athletes' careers through interviews with its own employees who protect the safety of actual managed properties and dialogues with sports players.
*This project embodies the aspiration for athletes to aim to be "aces" even in their second careers by supporting their career development.
