New Jia Inc. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Yukihiro Kashiwaguchi) has launched a new service, "Care-Call.AI LINE Monitoring," on March 30, 2026, operated by its AI monitoring service "Care-Call.AI." This service allows families with children studying abroad or spouses on overseas assignments to have daily conversations with AI via LINE, with the content viewable by the family on a dashboard.

For Overseas Expatriates: https://care-call.ai/family/expat

This service was developed in response to the specific need expressed by existing Care-Call.AI users: "We want to monitor the well-being of our children living abroad." It is a service that approaches a new customer segment distinct from traditional phone-based monitoring for the elderly.

"We want to monitor the well-being of our children living abroad."

Background of Development

Care-Call.AI has been operating as a service where AI makes daily calls to the elderly to confirm their well-being and provide psychological support. During service operations, numerous voices were received from existing users, such as, "It's difficult to contact my daughter who is studying abroad due to the time difference. We want to monitor our family members who are overseas as well.".

Starting from this customer need, we leveraged Care-Call.AI's accumulated technologies in AI conversation engines, report generation, anomaly detection, and notification infrastructure to newly develop a text chat-based monitoring service using the LINE Messaging API as the communication channel.

Service Overview

This service allows families living in Japan (subscribers) to monitor their loved ones living abroad daily through AI. The monitored individuals simply converse with the AI as they normally would via LINE, and the subscriber receives a daily conversation summary and emotional score.
