The AI monitoring service "Care-Call.AI", operated by Newjia Inc. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Yukihiro Kashiguchi), launched a new service, "Care-Call.AI LINE Monitoring", on March 30, 2026. This service allows families with children studying abroad or spouses working overseas to converse daily with an AI via LINE, and their families can review the content on a dashboard.
This service was developed in response to specific needs from existing users of Care-Call.AI who wanted to "monitor the well-being of children living abroad." It approaches a new customer segment entirely different from phone-based monitoring for the elderly.
■ Development Background Care-Call.AI has been operating as a service where AI makes daily phone calls to the elderly to confirm their safety and provide psychological support. During the service operation, we received many requests from existing users saying, "It's difficult to contact my daughter studying abroad due to the time difference. I want you to watch over my family overseas as well."
Starting from this customer need, we newly developed a text chat-based monitoring service using the LINE Messaging API as the communication tool, leveraging the AI conversation engine, report generation, anomaly detection, and notification infrastructure technologies cultivated by Care-Call.AI.
■ Service Overview This is a service that allows families (subscribers) living in Japan to watch over their loved ones living abroad every day through AI. The person being monitored simply converses normally using LINE, while the subscriber receives daily conversation summaries and emotion scores.
