Nitto Kogyo Corporation (Headquarters: Nagakute City, Aichi Prefecture; President: Toru Kurono; hereafter Nitto Kogyo) held a "Business Trip Factory Tour (Visiting Lecture)" in fiscal 2025 for third-grade students (approx. 500 children) at four elementary schools in Nagakute City, Aichi Prefecture, as part of its activities to contribute to the local community.

Nitto Kogyo continues to provide educational support to teach children, who will lead the next generation, about the role of electricity and the ingenuity of manufacturing. Going forward, we aim to be a company that stays close to and walks alongside the local community through educational support.

### ■ Details of the 'Business Trip Factory Tour'

We set up three booths—"Factory Tour," "Experience," and "Products"—so that the children could learn from multiple perspectives.

**1. Factory Tour Booth (Learning Electrical Safety)**
Skeleton-type circuit breakers were distributed to each child. While actually operating them, they learned about the mechanism of electricity shutting off and the role distribution boards play in protecting home safety.

**2. Experience Booth (Visualization of Electricity and Ingenuity)**
Using experimental equipment with a hand-cranked generator. The children experienced the "visualization of electricity" by making a fan spin and a ping-pong ball float with the electricity they generated. They also deepened their understanding of workers' ingenuity by searching for our products in the classroom in a quiz format.

**3. Product Booth (Touching Actual Equipment)**
Real circuit breakers and distribution boards were exhibited. We created an opportunity for them to actually experience the ON/OFF operation of handles and directly touch products they rarely see in everyday life.

### ■ Creation and Exhibition of 'Introduction Posters' by Children
As a conclusion to the class, the children were asked to create a 'Nitto Kogyo Introduction Poster' summarizing what they had learned.
