Nissui Corporation (Representative Director and President: Teru Tanaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo) announced that it will change the trade name of its group company, Yumigahama Suisan Co., Ltd. (Representative Director and President: Hiroshi Tsuruoka, Sakaiminato City, Tottori Prefecture), to 'Nissui Salmon Co., Ltd.' effective April 1, 2026. Simultaneously, the company will launch its domestic farmed salmon under the unified brand 'Nissui Salmon.' In conjunction with the launch of this new brand, Nissui will conduct the 'Enjoy the Season Salmon Campaign' from March 31 to July 20 as a consumer initiative for its salmon products. Nissui's domestic farmed salmon is supported by a wide range of technologies cultivated by the Nissui Group, including breeding, rearing, and processing. Yumigahama Suisan (established in 2013) farms coho salmon and trout, and this spring, it plans to land a total of approximately 4,550 tons of farmed salmon produced at its headquarters in Sakaiminato, Sado, and Iwate Prefecture (Otsuchi and Rikuzentakata). From this term, all domestic farmed salmon produced by the company will be consolidated under the new 'Nissui Salmon' brand, and the entire volume will be sold by Nissui. Nissui Salmon is a domestic farmed salmon raised by fish professionals. Because Nissui knows fish, knows the sea, and knows the journey to the dining table, we deliver quality and taste with confidence. Nissui Salmon realizes the delivery of safe and delicious products. We will continue to deliver peace of mind and smiles to daily dining tables and connect it as a staple of future Japanese dining. Actor and artist Non will continue to serve as the campaign's image character.
