### About the Excellent Corporation for Practicing Dietary Education Commendation System
With the disruption of adult dietary habits becoming more apparent—such as the trend toward dining out and seeking convenience, and the decrease in vegetable and fruit intake among young people—there is a growing need to promote "adult dietary education," especially among the younger generation who will lead the future society.

The "Excellent Corporation for Practicing Dietary Education Commendation System" was established by MAFF to honor companies that are taking and evaluating measures to improve dietary habits, such as providing healthy meals to employees, thereby aiming to improve vitality within companies and horizontally deploy excellent initiatives. Certifications are awarded annually by the "Public-Private Partnership Dietary Education Platform," which MAFF established in June 2025 to promote "adult dietary education."

### Initiatives for Employees' Healthy Dietary Habits
Under our Health and Productivity Management Promotion Policy, we have identified three priority themes: "prevention of lifestyle diseases," "promotion of smoking cessation," and "mental health." Particularly for the prevention of lifestyle diseases, we believe an approach from both exercise and diet is important.

Regarding diet, we emphasize creating an environment where employees can make healthy choices effortlessly in their daily lives. In the employee cafeteria, we utilize our own products, such as healthy oils and dressings, and provide healthy menus that are nutritionally balanced. Furthermore, by offering meals that have acquired the "Smart Meal" certification based on the "Healthy Meal and Food Environment" certification system, we contribute to the prevention of lifestyle diseases. In addition, we have introduced services that allow employees to easily consume vegetables at each plant and business site, thereby encouraging behavioral changes in every employee.
