Announcing the 31st "Everyone's Nishi-Nippon Railroad Bus and Train Painting Contest"!

Nishi-Nippon Railroad Co., Ltd. will hold the 31st "Everyone's Nishi-Nippon Railroad Bus and Train Painting Contest" from July 1, 2026 (Wed) to September 6, 2026 (Sun). The contest is open to elementary school students, kindergarteners, nursery school children, and children in the elementary and kindergarten departments of special needs schools.

Our group is promoting sustainable management, aiming for sustainable growth and development together with the community by addressing social issues for further growth. As part of this, we are engaged in "support for children who will lead the next generation" as a social contribution activity. This contest is held with the desire to foster familiarity with Nishi-Nippon Railroad buses and trains among children and to create opportunities for them to express their future dreams and aspirations.

For this 31st iteration, we are seeking paintings on themes such as "Dream Nishi-Nippon Railroad Buses and Trains I Want to Ride in the Future" and "My Favorite Nishi-Nippon Railroad Buses and Trains." Outstanding works will be selected from the submissions. The Grand Prize winner's work will be used for the design of a wrapped bus and train headmark, and prizes will also include tickets to KidZania Fukuoka, Rail Kitchen Chikugo, and a Fukuoka Open-Top Bus tour. Selected works will be exhibited at the Zefra on the 1st floor of Solaria Plaza from October 27, 2026 (Tue) to November 1, 2026 (Sun).

[Eligibility]

Elementary school students, kindergarteners, nursery school children, children's garden children, and children in the elementary and kindergarten departments of special needs schools.

[How to Apply]

Register as a friend on the official LINE account of "Nishitetsu Kids Channel," enter the required information, and submit your painting as a data file taken with your smartphone.

*If your work is selected, you will be asked to send the original artwork to the secretariat, so please keep the original in a safe place.

*Please note that if the original artwork is damaged or lost, your award may be revoked.
