## [3rd Announcement] "Bakushoku Onsai GW," an urban festival collecting fragments of Expo

We are pleased to announce the third update regarding the "Bakushoku Onsai GW" (Expo '70 Food and Music Festival Golden Week) event, which will be held for six days from May 1 (Fri) to May 6 (Wed), 2026, at Expo '70 Commemorative Park (Suita City, Osaka Prefecture).

"Bakushoku Onsai GW" is a large-scale event organized by the Bakushoku Onsai Executive Committee (Nishio Rent All Co., Ltd., Color create Inc., FoodFes Inc.) that aims to connect the legacy and enthusiasm of the Expo to the next era.

■ Evolving the Expo's energy into "entertainment"

"Bakushoku Onsai" is developed as an "After Expo Festival" that re-edits the international exchange and cultural experiences born at the Expo within the city, without letting them be fleeting, and returns them to the local community.

While inheriting the energy and connections created at the Expo, it comprehensively integrates food, culture, and entertainment. It aims to be a new urban festival where diverse cultures intersect in an urban space.

■ Popular characters color the venue

It has been decided that Myaku-Myaku, the official character of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, will appear.
*The appearance date will be announced later on the official event Instagram. Appearances will be canceled in case of rain.

In addition, Heidi, a popular character from Switzerland, will also appear, creating a lively atmosphere throughout the venue through stage performances.

■ Popular gourmet foods from various national pavilions gather

Following the first and second announcements, the much-talked-about "Spark Burger" from the USA Pavilion will be added. Furthermore, soft-serve ice cream from the Canada Pavilion and authentic fish & chips from the UK Pavilion restaurant, which were also popular at the Expo, are scheduled to be offered.

■ Urban Market content

At the venue, goods featuring "Spark," the official character of the USA Pavilion, will be sold. These items will be developed as souvenirs to take home memories of the Expo.

In addition, an Expo-limited premium tea, a collaboration with Farrer's, a long-established tea brand from London, will also be available for purchase.

■ On May 2nd only, the first "Circular Dress-up Booth" will appear!

■ Exhibition area to experience various national cultures

In addition to the content from March, the venue will feature exhibitions where visitors can experience materials and cultures from various countries related to the Expo.

- Pakistan: Pink salt, golden panels used at the Expo
- Jordan: Sand, stones
- India: Pavilion uniform
- Nepal: Traditional costumes, drums

Furthermore, panels with country names that were exhibited at the Aichi Expo and tiles actually used in the Spain Pavilion will also be displayed.

"Bakushoku Onsai" offers an experience as if touring the world within the city.
