Summary of President's Address Congratulations on joining the company. And thank you for choosing Nikko among many companies.

I believe you all have various thoughts as you transition from students to working professionals. I myself vividly remember experiencing this day with both hope and anxiety, just like you, over 40 years ago. Until today, I have had many experiences, including difficult ones, but being able to stand before you now feels like the "result of persistence" for me. In the future, there will be many things that don't go as planned. However, all of them are learning experiences. Please don't be afraid to take on challenges. And what is important in supporting those challenges is to "have an open mind." Actively absorb what those around you are trying to convey, while being aware of their intentions.

There is a saying in the world, "employees are cogs in a company," but I don't think that's a bad thing at all. Only when many cogs mesh together does a great force emerge, and the company moves forward. If even one cog is missing, someone must compensate for it, and that power must be passed on to the next generation. With the power to learn and the spirit to challenge as your core, please become individuals who not only rotate steadily yourselves but also positively influence those around you. I believe that is the essence of a company as an organization. In your future professional life, there will be not only enjoyable things but also difficult ones. How much the moments you feel "enjoyable" outweigh the difficulties, I think that is also one of the interesting aspects.

Celebrating its 107th anniversary, Nikko's plants have earned the reputation of being the best in Japan. However, the future ahead depends on your strength. Let's work together to build Nikko's future. Congratulations again on joining the company today.
