Co-hosted with Otowa Electric Co., Ltd.: "Lightning and Lightning Protection Technology Seminar" Held

Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun, Ltd. (President and Representative Director: Taku Kamisaka, Location: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) is co-hosting the "Lightning and Lightning Protection Technology Seminar" with Otowa Electric Co., Ltd. (President and Representative Director: Atsushi Yoshida, Location: Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture) at three venues nationwide (Osaka: May 19 (Tue), Kyushu: June 12 (Fri), Tokyo: July 24 (Fri), 2026). It is a free, advance-registration event. Furthermore, it will also be held in Kanazawa on October 9 (Fri) this year.

## Natural Disasters and Lightning Damage Countermeasures
It is no exaggeration to say that "assets" in a company are now equivalent to "information assets." Even if backups are taken, if equipment fails due to a lightning strike, information assets may be "lost forever." In our current society, where cloud services are rapidly expanding, this concern is actually increasing. The co-hosting OTOWA Group considers "protecting corporate assets (= information assets) as our mission" and will introduce the "necessity of lightning damage countermeasures" from the perspective of the risk posed by "lightning."
