Nikka Home Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ryokuyamacho, Midori-ku, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture; President: Hiihisa Nishida; hereinafter referred to as Nikka Home), a housing renovation company, has been continuously implementing its unique career education support program "Living Classroom" since fiscal year 2024. This program provides children with opportunities to think about their future careers and lives while learning about "architecture, housing, and the environment."
It has now been decided that outreach classes will be held as part of its fiscal year 2026 activities: on July 10th at an elementary school in Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo, and on July 22nd in Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture.
In this program, staff active in the housing renovation field serve as instructors, conveying the appeal of "housing," "manufacturing," and "work" to children.

In recent years, while the importance of career education has been increasing, expectations for external personnel with specialized knowledge and experience are also rising.
Furthermore, the architecture and housing industry faces the challenge of a future labor shortage, and there is a need to create opportunities for children to learn about the connection between their daily lives and work.
As a company that contributes to society through "housing," Nikka Home aims to foster the ability to think and act independently by conveying the role of architecture and housing to the children who will lead the future.
Unique Program "Living Classroom" Continuing Since FY2024
Nikka Home's "Living Classroom" is an original educational support program that utilizes the knowledge and experience gained in the housing renovation business, and is conducted at schools and after-school facilities.
To date, outreach classes have been held for a wide range of ages, from elementary to junior high school students, rooted in local communities.

Customized Class Programs for Each School
A feature of "Living Classroom" is the ability to flexibly design class content according to the target age and the educational policies of each school.
In addition to lecture-style classes, hands-on programs such as woodworking experiences and workshops are also offered, allowing children to learn while having fun.
Furthermore, by having current renovation staff serve as instructors, they convey the "reality of work" and the "appeal of manufacturing" that cannot be learned from textbooks alone.
