Kutsurogi-dokoro Fukusuke (28 Iwayado-cho, Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, within Iwayado Park), operated by Nikka Home Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture), has opened a remote-controlled construction vehicle cafe, the first of its kind in the Tokai area (※According to our research).

This is an experiential activity where you can operate authentic remote-controlled excavators on a special course designed to resemble a real construction site.

As a facility where visitors can enjoy the fun of "manufacturing" and "construction" unique to Nikka Home, a reform company, it can be enjoyed by children as well as adult construction machinery fans.

While operating the remote-controlled excavator, you will excavate various minerals buried in the sandbox.

The process of carefully digging through the sand with the levers and finding the minerals is just like a real excavation site.

The minerals found within the time limit can be taken home, allowing visitors to enjoy the excitement of "What kind of minerals will I find?" and the sense of accomplishment when they successfully excavate them. (Up to 10 items per person)

The remote-controlled construction vehicle area is set up in the indoor banquet hall space on the second floor of Kutsurogi-dokoro Fukusuke.

It can be enjoyed comfortably even on rainy days or hot summer days, and can be used as a new indoor activity to enjoy in conjunction with river play or hiking.

A New Playground Born from a Ryokan Regeneration Project

Kutsurogi-dokoro Fukusuke is a facility that Nikka Home renovated from a long-established ryokan that had closed down, aiming for its revival as a new regional revitalization effort.

In addition to an indoor water play area, dining space, and large public bath with hot showers, the introduction of this remote-controlled excavator mineral excavation experience aims to create a facility where families can enjoy themselves all day long.

We aim to provide new experiential value to everyone who visits Iwayado Park and contribute to regional revitalization.

We offer coffee, soft drinks, and other beverages on a self-service basis. In a space that conveys the warmth of Japanese style, you can relax while enjoying the sound of the river and the greenery.

Kutsurogi-dokoro Fukusuke is working to create a facility that families and children can enjoy, not just a cafe.

Hot Shower Service Begins (Service starts June 22)

We have started operating hot showers. This service allows visitors to easily wash off sweat and dirt after river play or hiking in Iwayado Park. We are equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and dryers, and also sell bath towels.

Even if you get soaked playing in the river, we have installed a foot-drying mat at the entrance, so please visit with peace of mind.

Kutsurogi-dokoro Fukusuke will continue to enhance its content to provide new experiences and a place of relaxation for local residents and tourists.

We are preparing to offer new food menus utilizing local ingredients. We will start offering dining services where you can enjoy meals unique to Fukusuke, aiming to be a facility where you can easily stop by for lunch or a break.
