[NIJIN Inc.] Teachers Nationwide Gather in Tokyo for "Deeper Learning" Event on August 1st

Since the implementation of the new Course of Study, schools have been urged to achieve "active, interactive, and deep learning."

However,

- What specifically constitutes deep learning?

- What does it look like when children are learning deeply?

- How should curriculum research be conducted?

Many teachers are struggling with these questions.

Furthermore, opportunities for direct learning from practitioners nationwide are limited due to the busy school environment.

Therefore, Jugyo Terrace planned this event with the desire to "create a place where teachers from all over the country can gather to seriously think and discuss deep learning."

■ Highlights of the Seminar

You can listen to lectures on "deep learning" by Mr. Nakano, who serves as a research director at Niigata University Attached Elementary School and has authored numerous books on Japanese language education, and Mr. Ozaki, who is vice-principal at National Gakuen Elementary School and also teaches mathematics. Not only that, but five participants will be given the opportunity to present their "lessons where learning deepened" for five minutes. Following their presentations, they will receive feedback from Mr. Ozaki and Mr. Nakano. This is a unique opportunity to gain learning from multiple perspectives.
