Tatsuro Hoshino, Principal of the alternative school "NIJIN Academy," operated by NIJIN Inc. (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tatsuro Hoshino), will be a guest speaker at the "2025 Clinical Art Association Special Lecture" to be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026.

In this lecture, titled "Turning School Non-Attendance into Hope: 'The Picasso Perspective' and Psychological Safety for Diverse Personalities to Flourish," he will share practical approaches on how children who do not attend school can regain their agency and self-confidence through self-expression.

"Turning School Non-Attendance into Hope: 'The Picasso Perspective' and Psychological Safety for Diverse Personalities to Flourish"

Children who do not attend school often lose their self-esteem simply because they are not in school.

However, at NIJIN Academy, we redefine this time not as a "blank space," but as "time for self-expression." Many children are blossoming and discovering their talents in fields such as art.

The lecture will incorporate practical examples, including collaborations with TOPPAN Geizoken, to discuss:

・Liberation from stereotypes through "The Picasso Perspective"

・The impact of psychological safety on children's agency

・Creating environments where diverse personalities are recognized
