New Factory for Rice Flour Products such as "Baby Food," "Emergency Food," "Care Food," and "Chips" Starts Full Operation

Matsuya Co., Ltd. (Headquarters and Factory: Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Yoichi Matsuno) has started full operation in March of this year of a new factory that has been under construction since last year with the aim of strengthening the manufacturing capacity of its main products.

Background Since the establishment of the current factory in 1956 as a production base for highly alpha-processed rice flour, we have repeatedly developed and expanded our unique manufacturing facilities. However, to meet the steady demand for our main products and the strong demand for newly developed products, we proceeded with construction by utilizing subsidies from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' "Rice Flour Product Manufacturing Capacity Enhancement Support Project."

Future Development We will mainly manufacture care food (staple food that allows people with dysphagia to experience the deliciousness of rice with all five senses) created by utilizing our unique rice flour manufacturing technology, and health-oriented chips that maximize the power (flavor and nutrients) of the ingredients by baking each one using our unique manufacturing method.
