Ride the Limited Express Shirayuki from Niigata to Joetsu! Campaign to Gift JRE POINT to Lucky Passengers

Niigata Prefecture and JR East Niigata Branch, as part of the prefectural initiative 'Mainline Transportation Activation Project' (The 'Norite Tsunagaru' Campaign), are launching a promotional campaign to encourage the use of the Limited Express Shirayuki. Passengers who enter the campaign and book and ride the Limited Express Shirayuki via 'Ekinet' will be entered into a lottery to win JRE POINT—800 winners in total (400 winners each for Period ① and Period ②).

We encourage you to enjoy a convenient journey on the Limited Express Shirayuki, ideal for business and sightseeing.

Campaign Overview

(1) Campaign Details Participants must register via the campaign page on the JRE POINT website and book and ride the Limited Express Shirayuki via 'Ekinet'. Winners will be selected by lottery for each period. ※ Passengers who register as new members of 'Ekinet' during the entry period and participate in this campaign will receive +3 additional lottery entries. ※ Passengers who book and ride the Limited Express Shirayuki 20 or more times via 'Ekinet' during Period ① or Period ② will have their lottery entries doubled.

(2) Eligible Riding Periods Period ①: Rides taken from Wednesday, July 1, 2026 to Wednesday, September 30, 2026 Period ②: Rides taken from Thursday, October 1, 2026 to Thursday, December 31, 2026 ※ Entry Period: Wednesday, June 17, 2026 to Thursday, December 31, 2026

(3) How to Participate ① Register via the campaign page on the JRE POINT website during the entry period.

(4) Prizes For each of Period ① and Period ②, the following points will be awarded via lottery: 5,000 JRE POINT to 100 winners 3,000 JRE POINT to 100 winners 1,000 JRE POINT to 200 winners

(5) Important Notes ① To participate, you must be a registered member of 'Ekinet' (free) and link your JRE POINT membership number via your 'Ekinet' My Page in advance. ② Awarded points will be standard points. Winners will be notified by the issuance of points. Points for Period ① rides: Expected to be awarded from mid-November 2026 Points for Period ② rides: Expected to be awarded from mid-February 2027 ③ It is possible to win in both Period ① and Period ②. ④ Rides that begin and end entirely within the Echigo Tokimeki Railway line are not eligible for this campaign. ⑤ Due to regulations under the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations, participants in this campaign may be ineligible to win other concurrent JR East campaigns. ⑥ The campaign details are subject to change or cancellation without prior notice.

Niigata Prefecture, in collaboration with municipalities along the route, is promoting the use of the Limited Express Shirayuki connecting the Niigata and Joetsu regions.
