Presented by Kamo City: Hoisting of Carp Streamers

The sight of carp streamers dancing in the Kamo River from late April to late May each year is a spring tradition.
The colorful carp streamers swimming in the blue sky are beautiful, and on holidays, many families gather to enjoy them.

The carp streamers that Kamo City is proud of will be hoisted at the stadium entrance and outfield stands.
This is the first time the club will hoist carp streamers at the stadium.

Presented by Ojiya City: Nishikigoi Exhibition

Beautiful Nishikigoi from Ojiya City will be exhibited in the concourse.
This will be the second Nishikigoi exhibition following last year, and we plan to exhibit larger individuals than last year!

Additionally, there will be distribution of Ojiya City tourism and Nishikigoi pamphlets, a photo spot using Nishikigoi caps, and a Nishikigoi card present for following Ojiya City's Instagram.

▼ Varieties (Planned)
Three fish of the following varieties will be exhibited daily (randomly).

① Kohaku

"Kohaku" is characterized by red patterns on a white body, and it is said that various varieties were born based on "Kohaku." Although the body color is a simple combination of white and red, it is very profound, to the extent that it is said, "It begins with Kohaku and ends with Kohaku."
The white base should be whiter, and the red should be dark and bright. A clear boundary (kiwa) between the white base and the red pattern is considered excellent. Patterns come in various variations such as two-step, three-step, lightning, and maruten.

② A-Ginrin (Ginrin Kohaku)

"A-Ginrin" is a general term for varieties of the "Gosanke" (Kohaku, Taisho Sanshoku, Showa Sanshoku) that have glittering scales. Ginrin are bred so that only the scales shine, referring to those that glitter gold or silver. Varieties include "Ginrin Kohaku," "Ginrin Taisho Sanshoku," and "Ginrin Showa Sanshoku." Among them, those with particularly strong glitter are called "Diamond Ginrin," and those with a round glow in the center of the scales are called "Pearl Ginrin."
It is considered good if the shining Ginrin are beautifully arranged over the entire body and the glitter is strongly expressed.

③ Hikari-Utsuri (Kin Showa)

"Hikari-Utsuri" is a general term for Nishikigoi created by cross-breeding varieties with "Utsurizumi" (like "Showa Sanshoku" or "Shiro Utsuri") with "Hikari Muji." They display sumi (black patterns) on a glittering body. The Hikari versions of Showa Sanshoku are called "Kin Showa," Shiro Utsuri are "Gin Shiro Utsuri," and Hi Utsuri or Ki Utsuri are called "Kin Ki Utsuri."
Similar to "Hikari Moyo," those with a high overall luster, well-balanced and clear patterns, and powerful sumi swirling from head to tail are considered good.

④ Hikari-Muji (Matsuba Ogon)

"Hikari-Muji" is a general term for Nishikigoi that have no patterns on their body and have a single body color with a metallic luster. Depending on the body color, they are called "Yamabuki Ogon," "Platinum Ogon," "Orange Ogon," or "Nezu Ogon" and "Mukai Ki" which emit a subtle glow.
