[Oisix Niigata] Announcement of "Akiba Ward DAY" for Yakult Games on April 10-12

Oisix Niigata Albirex Baseball Club is pleased to announce that the three-game series against the Tokyo Yakult Swallows on Friday, April 10, Saturday, April 11, and Sunday, April 12, will be designated as "Akiba Ward DAY," offering three days to fully enjoy the charm of Niigata City's Akiba Ward.

In January of this year, Shohtaro Kasahara, a player from Akiba Ward, was appointed as the "Niigata City Akiba Ward Sports Goodwill Ambassador." To contribute to promoting the appeal of Akiba Ward, fostering sports among Akiba Ward residents, and revitalizing the region, the team will hold numerous events throughout Akiba Ward DAY.

Lanterns that adorn Horide Shrine during the "AKIHA-Be ONE" festival, hosted annually by Niitsu Junior Chamber International in August, will decorate ECO Stadium!
Especially on the 5th, during the night game, you can enjoy a nostalgic and fantastical atmosphere.

Dance studio "NaNam" will perform a dance performance on the field before the game!

April 11 (Sat)

Ryunosuke Yokoyama First Pitch Ceremony

Ryunosuke Yokoyama, a former Hanshin Tigers player and native of Akiba Ward, will be in attendance.

Yokoyama is from Kosudo-machi, Kambara-gun (now Niigata City Akiba Ward) and played as the ace for Nihon Bunri High School, appearing in Koshien. In the 2006 Spring Koshien, he contributed to Niigata Prefecture's first victory and advancement to the Best 8.
In the 2006 high school draft, he was selected in the 4th round by Hanshin and joined the team. After retirement, he works as a civil servant in Tainai City.

On the day, Takanori Tazawa, who was his battery mate in elementary, junior high, and high school, will serve as catcher.

Shinchu Taiko Ifu Drum Performance

"Shinchu Taiko Ifu," formed in Akiba Ward, will welcome everyone with powerful drum sounds on the field before the game!

TO ONE Baton Performance

The baton team "TO ONE," active in Niitsu, will perform a baton performance on the field before the game!

Dagashiya Showa Kichi Itchome C57 Pop-up Shop

"Dagashiya Showa Kichi Itchome C57," a popular traditional sweets shop located about a 3-minute walk from Niitsu Station, known for its nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere since its opening in 2010, will set up a pop-up shop.

The familiar "Sakaemachi Kagura," performed at celebratory occasions like the Niitsu Summer Festival, will be showcased on the field before the game.

Aerial Work Platform Experience Ride

With the cooperation of Ozeki Tsushin Densetsu Co., Ltd. from Akiba Ward, an aerial work platform will appear at ECO Stadium!
Enjoy the view from 15 meters above ground!

Akiha Glass x Oisix Niigata Albirex BC Collaboration Product Launch

A collaboration with "Akiha Glass," a blown glass studio located at the foot of the nature-rich Mt. Akiha in Niitsu, Akiba Ward, Niigata City, has been realized!
They will specially sell dragonfly bead straps and other items featuring Oisix motifs.

Dragonfly beads have a history of being used as amulets and charms, and these will be crafted with wishes for victory. Please come and purchase them!
