The Oisix Niigata Albirex Baseball Club is pleased to announce a collaborative cheering event with the Nihon Bunri High School Brass Band for the home game against the Chiba Lotte Marines on Sunday, April 5th.
Nihon Bunri High School participated in the 2026 Spring Invitational High School Baseball Tournament, making a strong showing on the Koshien stage after finishing as the runner-up in the Hokushinetsu tournament. They secured their first victory at the spring invitational in 15 years.
In this collaboration, the school's brass band will perform cheering songs at HARD OFF ECO Stadium Niigata, including "Ai wa Katsu" (Love Will Win), which became a hot topic when performed in the stands at Koshien. Their passionate performance from the stands will provide powerful support for the Oisix players.
The Nihon Bunri High School Brass Band also held a cheering collaboration with the team last season. At that time, they practiced and performed "Ai wa Katsu" specifically for the team, creating a sense of unity throughout the stadium. This reunion, following their success at Koshien, is expected to draw significant attention as an even more powerful and enhanced cheering performance.
