This year's venue is the Phoenix Room, which served as the main dining room and welcomed many guests since the hotel's opening. The menu features a variety of dishes that Hotel New Grand is proud of, including the hotel's signature "Seafood Doria" and "Spaghetti Neapolitan," popular curries, and sweets made with abundant seasonal fruits. In addition, we will offer teppanyaki of domestic beef fillet grilled right before your eyes by our chefs, as well as our famous "Roast Beef," passed down through generations, served with carving service.

Please fully enjoy your meal in a historic space built in the traditional Japanese architectural style, which is not usually open to the public.

Domestic Beef Roast Beef

Our signature roast beef, passed down through generations of chefs, will be served with carving service. Using high-quality domestic beef, slowly roasted for approximately 4-5 hours to a perfect medium-rare, locking in the juices for a rich, concentrated flavor of the meat itself. The incredibly tender texture makes this a "supreme" delicacy with many long-time fans, and it is usually only served at banquets and wedding receptions.

The Phoenix Room, which operated as the main dining room when the hotel opened in 1927 (Showa 2), is designed in the traditional Japanese architectural style of shrines and temples, with consideration for the fact that most guests at the time were foreigners. It is still used as a banquet hall today, and stepping inside, you will be captivated by the ceiling decorations and unique atmosphere. While Hotel New Grand is a Western-style hotel, this venue is incredibly charming, like an embodiment of ancient Japanese temples within.

Opened in 1927 (Showa 2) as a classic European-style hotel, symbolizing Yokohama's reconstruction after the Great Kanto Earthquake.
