Japanese makeup artist brand 'shu uemura' is hosting a pop-up event called 'shu sento' from March 27 (Fri) to April 2 (Thu), 2026, where visitors can experience the world of base makeup that embodies the brand's artistry. The venue for this pop-up is the brand's first global flagship beauty boutique, 'shu Tokyo Makeup Box.' For a limited time, it has been transformed with a 'Sento' (public bathhouse) theme to host this special event.

On the opening day, March 27, the globally popular dance group 'avantgardey' performed to celebrate the launch of 'shu sento.' The performance took place in front of the pop-up venue's annex, which features an 'open-air bathing' area. The sudden appearance of the group, wearing shu uemura makeup, combined with their powerful and perfectly synchronized dance, drew loud cheers and applause from the gathered crowd, making it a truly special moment.
