Japanese makeup artist brand 'shu uemura' is hosting a pop-up event called 'shu sento' from Friday, March 27, 2026, to Thursday, April 2, 2026, where visitors can enjoy the world of base makeup that embodies the brand's artistry. The pop-up is being held at the brand's first global flagship beauty boutique, 'shu TOKYO MAKEUP BOX.' For a limited time, the venue has been transformed with a 'sento' (public bath) theme to host this special event.

On the opening day, March 27, the globally popular dance group 'avantgardey' performed a dance routine in front of the pop-up's annex, which features an 'open-air bathing' area, to commemorate the launch of 'shu sento.' The sudden appearance of avantgardey, wearing shu uemura makeup, combined with their powerful and perfectly synchronized performance, drew loud cheers and applause from the gathered crowd, making it a truly special moment.
