Japan Tourism Promotion Digital Platform (Digipla) Digipla Tourism Data Analysis Screen
Amidst significant changes in the environment surrounding tourism regional development, there is a growing demand for data-driven marketing, the establishment of tourism strategies (EBPM), and human resource development. In particular, following the review of registration and renewal requirements for Destination Management Organizations (DMOs), various consultations regarding data utilization and tourism management strategies have been received from local governments, DMOs, and tourism associations.
To meet these regional needs, the Japan National Tourism Organization (Tokyo, Minato-ku; Chairman Masanobu Komoda (Chairman of the Board, Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd.)) will regularly hold an online "Tourism DX Support Seminar" utilizing the tourism DX project "Japan Tourism Promotion Digital Platform" (common name: Digipla).
This seminar will provide an opportunity to learn practical methods for establishing data-driven tourism plans and strategies, and for regional marketing, through the utilization of "Digipla," which centralizes data aggregation, sharing, and analysis. Participation is open to all involved in tourism regional development, including local governments, DMOs, tourism associations, and tourism-related businesses, regardless of membership status.
Seminar Features
Two Courses to Learn from Basics to Practice
Two courses are available: "Introduction" and "Application," depending on your learning objectives.
【Introduction】 This course will cover an overview of Digipla, its basic functions, how to operate it, and regional case studies.
【Application】 This course will introduce practical methods for applying data analysis to tourism plans and strategies, including PEST analysis, SWOT analysis, STP analysis, and 4P analysis.
Practical Learning of Data Utilization
In addition to case studies from regions that have introduced Digipla, various data solutions applicable to tourism regional development will also be introduced.
Online and Free of Charge
As the seminar is held online, participation is possible from anywhere in Japan.
Participation is free for both members and non-members.
