[Held May 13] How to Conduct School Club Activities and Sports Under Extreme Heat? - Experts Hold Online Seminar Based on Latest Research

The Comprehensive Research Promotion Fund S-24 'Comprehensive Research for Social Implementation of Climate Change Adaptation' Project [1] will hold a webinar titled 'How should school club activities and sports be conducted under extreme heat?' on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. (Secretariat: Center for Climate Change Adaptation, National Institute for Environmental Studies)

In recent years, as record-breaking heat waves continue, balancing 'ensuring safety' and 'ensuring opportunities for activities' has become a pressing issue for educational institutions and sports organizations. In this seminar, based on the latest research results, we will consider specific countermeasures (adaptation measures) that we should take now with experts. We look forward to the participation of not only school personnel and sports instructors, but also parents with children, students studying sports science, and others.
