Nichi-I Pharmacy Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazunori Koshi), a company providing new value through pharmacies, has added 19 new stores selling frozen soups and curries from Soup Stock Tokyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; Director and President: Mo Kudo, hereinafter "Soup Stock Tokyo"). With this expansion, the total number of Nichi-I Pharmacy stores nationwide offering these products reaches 52.

Background of This Initiative—The Significance of Offering Soup Stock Tokyo Products at Pharmacies

Nichi-I Pharmacy is committed to creating pharmacies that customers can visit easily, even without a prescription. As part of this effort, in May 2025, we became the first pharmacy chain to begin selling Soup Stock Tokyo's frozen soups and curries at 33 stores. Soup Stock Tokyo's frozen soups and curries, beloved across generations as a "specialty soup restaurant," allow customers to enjoy restaurant-quality meals at home. Simply heated, they are easy to prepare and have been highly praised as reliable meal solutions—supporting healthy dining not only when individuals or family members are unwell, but also during busy times such as work, childcare, or caregiving, when preparing meals can be difficult.
