Nippon Shading to Sell Popular "550 Yen Flat-Rate Over-the-Counter Drugs" at 16 All Pharmacy Stores

Nippon Shading Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Kazuki Ogi), which provides new value in pharmacies, is pleased to announce that it has sequentially begun sales of its private brand "5COINS PHARMA," which supports self-medication, at 16 "All Pharmacy" stores operated by My Life Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture; Representative Director: Makoto Itoga; hereinafter referred to as "My Life")※1.

What is "5COINS PHARMA"?

This is a series of OTC (over-the-counter) drugs priced at a flat rate of 550 yen (tax included)※2. Developed with the idea that the price of OTC drugs is one of the challenges in promoting self-medication, it offers 40 items focusing on quality and active ingredient dosage. This series has been performing well with a year-on-year sales increase of 170%※3, and has been handled by approximately 1,100 stores across about 110 companies, including other dispensing pharmacies, electronics retailers, and the online store "Amazon."

We have now commenced sales at 16 All Pharmacy stores operated by My Life.
