Nichirei Foods Corporation, led by Representative Director Masahiko Takenaga, released two 60-second Web CMs for its "Honkaku Itame Cha-han®" product on its official YouTube channel on Monday, April 13, 2026. The product celebrates its 25th anniversary and has been the top-selling frozen cooked fried rice for 25 consecutive years (according to Intage SRI+ from March 2017 to February 2026, and Intage SRI from March 2001 to February 2017). It also ranked No. 1 in purchase amount across all frozen foods in 2025 (according to Intage SCI from January to December 2025). The CMs, titled "Ai Yue ni, Mikansei. Developer Edition" and "Ai Yue ni, Mikansei. Parent-Child Edition," depict the product's 25-year history from the perspective of its developers and through a child's growth story, respectively. The "Honkaku Itame Cha-han®" product was launched in 2001, pioneering the use of actual stir-frying processes for home-use frozen fried rice. The product features a "three-stage stir-frying method" that coats each grain of rice with egg, allowing for a fluffy texture even when microwaved. Additionally, a special train jack advertisement campaign will be implemented on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and Marunouchi Line from April 13 to April 27, 2026, featuring a special design and a timeline of the product's 25-year history. Aoto Kojobo, born September 11, 2002, from Ishikawa Prefecture, plays the son in the Parent-Child Edition CM.
