◆What is 'Amoeba Ondoku Talk'?: 3 Steps to Transform Active Reading from 'Work' to 'Conversation'
The common challenge many people experience is: 'I understand the meaning when I read, but I can't speak when it comes down to it.' The cause of this is that active reading often ends up as mere repetition (work).
This method uses English texts of about 150-300 words and involves a chained process of 'understanding, internalization, and expression' in three stages. Just as an amoeba changes its shape freely, it's a series of processes that elevate internalized English into speaking ability that can be output according to the situation.
◆Recommended for those who:
Want to speak English but don't know what to do
Have heard that active reading is important but are unsure about the method
Have studied alone but feel a plateau in their progress
Want to acquire English as a practical skill, not just knowledge
This is for anyone from beginners to intermediate learners who 'want to speak in their own words.'
◆What you can learn at this lecture:
Clearly understand how active reading leads to conversational ability
Experience specific training methods to transform 'reading practice' into 'speaking ability.'
Take home practical learning methods that can be continued alone at home
Immediately after the lecture, you can start learning English feeling, 'I can do this.'
In this lecture, you will learn the mechanism of how active reading contributes to conversational ability, and you can take home useful learning methods that can be practiced at home. While many learners face the wall of 'I do active reading, but the words don't come out when it matters,' Mr. Urashima offers a unique set of steps here.
Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin, which has pursued 'usable English' for 80 years, presents this practical 90-minute session. Through a face-to-face workshop, you can experience the 'feeling of being understood by others,' which is difficult to achieve through self-study using AI or apps.
