To coincide with "Doyo no Ushi no Hi," a summer tradition, we have carefully cooked grilled eel in each individual pot. The butter added to the freshly cooked rice melts slowly, creating a unique kamameshi for this season where the savory flavor of the eel, the dashi broth, and the richness of the butter come together.

The "Eel Butter Kamameshi" we are offering this time is a summer-limited menu where fragrant grilled eel is carefully cooked in each pot.

The savory flavor of the eel permeates each grain of rice along with our special dashi broth, allowing you to enjoy the fluffy texture of the eel and the savory flavor of its skin. July is the season for "Doyo no Ushi no Hi." We have prepared this kamameshi, available only during this period, as a taste of summer.

Butter Added Upon Cooking. A New Deliciousness: "Eel x Butter"

This year's eel kamameshi features an extra touch upon serving. The butter added at the end slowly melts over the hot rice, enveloping the eel's fragrance, sweet and savory sauce, and the umami of the dashi. Enjoy it as is at first, and then mixed with the butter. The changing flavors as you eat are also a unique enjoyment of this kamameshi.

We also offer "Kokushi Musou," a renowned sake from Asahikawa City, Hokkaido. Its clean taste, with the umami of rice, pairs well with the savory flavor of eel and the richness of butter.
