"comico WEBTOON BL Manga Award" Results Announced! 4 Works Received Awards!

NHN comico Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Jeong Woo-jin) announces that the winners of the "comico WEBTOON BL Manga Award," held for the first time on our manga app "comico," were announced today, March 26th.

For the "comico WEBTOON BL Manga Award," we accepted entries of standalone WEBTOONs of 30 panels or more, based on BL themes, from October 15, 2025, to January 15, 2026 (Thursday).

Following a rigorous screening by the comico editorial department, two works were selected for the runner-up prize: Oriō's "Transfusion" and mocopaco's "The Fate of the Coward," and two works were selected for the Encouragement Award: Ichijiku Ato's "The Reply is on Your Chest" and Takowasa's "Refrain Code."

(No Grand Prize winner)

In addition to prize money, all winners will be assigned an editor from the comico editorial department who will provide full support for their creative activities towards debut.

In recent years, comico's WEBTOON BL works have received high acclaim, such as "I'm Targeted by a Perverted Stalker" which won 3rd place in the WEBTOON category of the "BL Award" in 2024 and 5th place in 2025, and "If You're Not My Destined Partner, Just Tonight" which ranked 12th in 2025.

comico positions "BL" as one of its strengthened genres and will continue to focus on creating appealing works in the future.
