About the Joint Training
The purpose of this training was for new graduates from NHN's global bases in Japan and Korea to deepen mutual understanding and build a foundation for collaboration.
This year, marking the second time the training has been held since last year, the target was expanded to include new graduates in the technology (cloud) domain, in addition to the game business and administrative departments, with a total of 48 participants from both countries.
Cultivating Practical Perspectives Necessary for Global Business
The joint training was conducted in a hybrid format, combining online and offline sessions. Participants deepened their understanding of market environments and business characteristics in each country, cultivating practical perspectives necessary for global business.
New graduates from both countries participated in a "Leader Message" session to hear directly about the company's vision and global strategy from key NHN leaders. They also deepened their understanding of business and technology domains through visits to game development studios and the NHN Cloud Data Center (NCC).
Furthermore, they acquired practical know-how through special lectures by in-house instructors, strengthening their expertise as global talent.
Implementing Group Work Using Latest Technologies
Group work was conducted on the theme of "Collaboration using AI tools."
Participants were divided into teams and tackled the following challenges using the latest technologies such as AI:
Game Team: AI-powered storyboard creation and web prototype implementation
Cloud Team: Service design with cloud functions and demonstration
In addition, exchanges were deepened through an "Insight Tour" in Seoul's Seongsu-dong area, a hub of trends, and mission activities to improve teamwork.
New graduates from the NHN Japan Group who participated in the training commented, "It was a valuable experience to learn the essence of collaboration in different cultures," and "We want to grow into global talent who can combine the strengths of both countries and create synergy on a global stage."
