TOYOTA TSUSHO NEXTY ELECTRONICS (THAILAND) CO., LTD. (NETH), the Thai subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho Group's electronics trading firm Nexty Electronics, has established a joint venture, Daikin Toyota Tsusho Electronics (Thailand) Ltd., in collaboration with Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd. (DIT), a subsidiary of Daikin Industries.

The joint venture aims to streamline embedded software development for HVAC systems, focusing on reducing lead times, optimizing costs, and strengthening long-term development foundations.

Background and Objectives As HVAC system development grows more complex, enhancing software development capabilities has become a vital management priority. NETH brings over 20 years of experience in automotive embedded software development, and its design and quality management expertise is highly compatible with DIT's HVAC technology. The two companies will combine their strengths to build a high-level development framework. Initially focusing on contract development for DIT, the company plans to expand its services to other Daikin Group development sites in the ASEAN region.
