## Survey: How Much Do You Use Your Air Conditioner?

In recent years, with extreme summer heat and harsh winters, air conditioners have become indispensable appliances. However, rising electricity costs are a concern for many. We surveyed 500 men and women across Japan in collaboration with 'Tamatama,' an online appliance store, to understand usage frequency and seasonal patterns.

### 48.0% Respond 'Use Depending on the Season'
When asked about usage frequency, the most common response was 'Use depending on the season,' accounting for 48.0%. This was followed by 'Use almost every day' at 22.6% and 'Do not use at all' at 14.2%.

### 36.8% Use Constantly During Hot or Cold Seasons
When asked about the primary usage period, 36.8% chose 'Always use during hot or cold seasons.' This was followed by 'Use only in summer' at 35.6% and 'Use only on especially hot or cold days' at 20.5%.

### 41.8% Use Air Conditioners 'All Day Long' in Summer
Regarding time zones in summer, 'All day long' was the most popular response at 41.8%. This was followed by 'Only during especially hot hours' at 22.6% and 'Only during the day' at 15.5%.

### 33.0% Use Air Conditioners 'Only During Especially Cold Hours' in Winter
Regarding time zones in winter, 'Only during especially cold hours' was the most frequent answer at 33.0%, followed by 'All day long' at 26.5%.
