Survey: 70% of Funeral Organizers Had No Prior Preparation; 32% Faced Difficulties

A survey conducted by NEXER and Hatao Funeral Home among 241 individuals revealed that 69.7% of funeral arrangers had no prior preparation. Around 32% faced challenges, primarily due to a lack of knowledge on procedures and costs. While only 14.5% expressed regrets, these mostly involved not knowing the deceased's wishes or failing to research funeral homes beforehand. Experts recommend early information gathering and family discussions to reduce the burden during such times.
