However, when it comes down to choosing, there are many points to consider, such as "cost," "location," and "atmosphere." What were the deciding factors for those who actually held a wedding when choosing a venue? And are they satisfied with their choice?

Therefore, this time, in collaboration with Amaminosato South Villa Garden, we conducted a questionnaire on "Important points and satisfaction in choosing a wedding venue" targeting 300 men and women nationwide who answered "I have held a wedding" in a preliminary survey.

■ 29.0% answered they placed the most importance on "Location/Access"

First, we asked about the most important point when choosing a wedding venue.

The most common was "Location/Access" at 29.0%.

This was followed by "Cost" at 28.0% and "Atmosphere" at 14.3%.

It is impressive that "Location/Access" and "Cost" closely occupy the top positions. It suggests an emphasis on practical perspectives, such as consideration for guests from afar and wanting to hold the best ceremony within a limited budget.

We asked the reasons for each answer, and here are some of them.

Those who answered "Location/Access"

- Because there are guests coming from afar. (40s/Male)
- Because I wanted a convenient place near the station. (40s/Female)

Those who answered "Cost"

- Because I want to hold a wedding without financial strain. (30s/Male)
- The wedding is important, but the life after that is also important. (40s/Male)

Those who answered "Atmosphere"

- I fell in love at first sight with a very beautiful chapel. (30s/Female)
- Basically, it's a once-in-a-lifetime event, so if the atmosphere is bad, I think I'll regret it for the rest of my life. (40s/Male)

From those who prioritized location, voices citing "consideration for guests from afar" stood out as the reason. It shows that a wedding is not just for the couple, and compassion for loved ones greatly influences the choice of venue.

Those who prioritized cost shared a solid way of thinking looking ahead to "life after that," and it conveys that those who prioritized atmosphere value the special feeling as a "lifelong memory."

■ 20.4% answered that they care if "the ceremony overlaps with another couple on the same day" when choosing a venue

Next, we asked whether they care if "the ceremony overlaps with another couple on the same day" when choosing a venue.

"Don't care at all" was the most common at 40.3%, followed by "Don't care much" at 39.3%. On the other hand, "Care somewhat" was 16.7% and "Care very much" was 3.7%, meaning a total of about 20.4% answered that they care.

While about 80% answered they "don't care," it shows that about 20% are conscious of overlapping with other couples.
