※As a general rule, figures are rounded to the first decimal place, so the total may not always be 100%.
■15.0% responded that they are "currently engaged in diet or body makeup"
First, we asked whether respondents are currently engaged in diet or body makeup.

As a result, only 15.0% of women responded that they are "currently engaged."
26.0% responded "I want to engage," indicating that many are in a state of "wanting to start but haven't yet."
On the other hand, 59.0% responded "No," which was the most common answer, accounting for more than half of the total.
■31.8% responded that they "have experience attempting diet or body makeup in the past"
Next, we asked those who are not currently engaged in diet or body makeup if they have ever attempted it in the past.

The results showed that 31.8% answered "Yes" and 68.2% answered "No."
Approximately one in three women have experience attempting some form of diet or body makeup in the past. Meanwhile, about 70% of those not currently engaged have never seriously attempted it before.
■Most common method attempted in the past was "dietary restriction" at 83.3%
Next, we asked those who have experience attempting diet or body makeup in the past what methods they have tried.

The most common method was "dietary restriction" at 83.3%.
This was followed by "running/walking" at 42.6% and "home training" at 40.7%.
While easily accessible methods ranked high, "personal training" was a minority at 3.7%. This suggests a tendency for people to try to manage on their own first, rather than seeking professional support.
■39.0% responded that they "have experienced failure in diet or body makeup"
Next, we asked if respondents have ever experienced "failure" or "giving up midway" in diet or body makeup.

As a result, 39.0% responded "Yes."
Approximately 40% of women have attempted diet or body makeup but gave up midway.
So, why do they give up?
We asked those who have experienced "failure" or "giving up midway" in diet or body makeup about the causes.

The most common cause was "results are not visible" at 55.1%.
This was followed by "difficulty maintaining motivation" at 51.3% and "difficulty with meal management" at 37.2%.
More than half of the respondents cited not feeling visible changes despite their efforts as a reason for giving up. Also, 33.3% answered "cannot continue alone," indicating that many feel the limits of trying to achieve goals without support or professional knowledge.
■Most desired support: "Programs that can be done at home" at 38.5%
Next, we asked those who have experienced "failure" or "giving up midway" to select the support they "wish they had" to succeed in diet or body makeup.

The most common answer was "programs that can be done at home" at 38.5%.
This indicates the highest demand for menus that can be undertaken without being restricted by location or time.
This was followed by "record/management that shows results" at 34.6% and "short-time menus" at 30.8%, revealing a desire for methods that can be continued without strain even in busy daily lives.
■Specific support that respondents feel would help them "continue"
Finally, we asked about specific types of support that respondents feel would help them "continue" with diet or body makeup.
Please tell us specifically what kind of support you think would help you continue with diet or body makeup.
・Having someone to cheer me on. (Woman in her 20s)
・Recommended diet menus and diet methods that don't impact household finances. (Woman in her 20s)
・Support that makes results and effects visible would boost motivation. (Woman in her 30s)
・If someone could decide the daily exercise methods/times and meal menus, it would be easier to continue without stress. (Woman in her 30s)
・I want to be praised to help maintain motivation. (Woman in her 40s)
・Encouragement from a community where I can empathize with feelings, one I haven't known before. With friends, I tend to get complacent, so guidance from new acquaintances would be good. (Woman in her 50s)
In the free-response section, specific voices were received from various age groups. The common sentiment is the desire to "continue without bearing the burden alone."
From women in their 20s, there were requests for someone to cheer them on and methods that are gentle on household finances. This reveals a realistic concern about financial hurdles, even with the desire to diet.
For women in their 30s, demands for "visualization" of results and specific exercise/meal menus were prominent. The idea is that clearly showing what to do and how to do it makes it easier to continue without getting lost.
The voice from women in their 40s, "I want to be praised," is striking.
Dieting can often be a lonely battle, so positive feedback likely becomes a great force for continuation.
From women in their 50s, there was a request for encouragement from a new community rather than friends. They feel that the presence of companions with an appropriate distance is more effective because they tend to get complacent with close friends.
■Summary
This survey revealed that while only 15.0% of respondents are currently engaged in diet or body makeup, 26.0% wish to engage. This suggests that a large segment of the population is interested but has not yet taken action.
Approximately 39% have experienced failure, with reasons such as "results are not visible," "difficulty maintaining motivation," and "difficulty with meal management."
To succeed in diet and body makeup, it seems crucial not only to try on one's own but also to utilize support from instructors with specialized knowledge and systems that allow for the実感 (jitsukan - real feeling/experience) of results.
