[New York] Accenture (NYSE: ACN) and Databricks, the Data and AI company, today announced an enhanced collaboration to help organizations maximize the value of their data and accelerate the large-scale deployment of AI applications and agents.

The two companies are expanding their strategic partnership by establishing the "Accenture-Databricks Business Group," a dedicated organization focused on positioning Databricks technology as a core data and AI platform for clients. This group will drive the adoption of Databricks' latest innovations, including "Lakebase," a serverless Postgres database optimized for AI; "Genie," which allows employees to interact with company data using natural language; and "Agent Bricks," high-quality agents built on enterprise-grade data foundations.

Many organizations struggle with data fragmentation and legacy infrastructure, creating information silos that hinder the enterprise-wide scaling of AI. Effective AI utilization requires a unified data foundation and centralized governance informed by industry-specific insights. Companies must transition AI from the experimental phase to production by establishing an environment where data and AI can be leveraged across the entire organization. By combining Databricks' platform with Accenture's global industry expertise, the two companies provide the foundation for building and deploying AI applications and agents that translate data value into sustainable business outcomes.
