New-Quick (New-Quick Co., Ltd., Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President: Koji Hayashi), which operates 82 butcher shops nationwide, will hold the "Let's Visit the Summer Free Study Support Project 'Nissin Oillio Oil Museum'!" factory tour event for parents and children to learn together on August 3, 2026 (Mon).
Last year's event received approximately 600 applications. This year, we will again offer an opportunity for elementary school children and their guardians to learn about "oil," an essential part of our daily meals, in a fun, family-oriented setting. Applications will open on July 1, 2026.
New-Quick [Summer Free Study Support Project "Let's Visit the Nissin Oillio Oil Museum!"]
New-Quick offers a variety of fried side dishes, such as "Nikuchiki" which overflows with juicy meat, and "Yamagata Beef Korokoro Menchi" which allows you to enjoy the deliciousness of Yamagata beef, all made with the unique expertise of a specialty butcher shop. For the frying oil used in making these dishes, we primarily use edible oils from Nissin Oillio. As "users" who handle oil in our stores every day, this project was born from our desire to convey to children in a fun way the process of how edible oil is made, its quality control, and the role it plays in our lives.
*Scenes from last year
During this tour event, participants will take a bus tour around the grounds of the Nissin Oillio Yokohama Isogo Plant and observe the edible oil product filling lines. At the interactive "Nissin Oillio Oil Museum," participants will learn about the raw materials and types of oil, as well as their role in cooking, through observation, touch, and experience. Furthermore, a quiz on basic oil knowledge and a "Handmade Dressing Experience" where participants can make their own dressing using their preferred oil will be held. Participants can learn about the flow of edible oil to their homes, as well as food safety and environmental considerations, making it a valuable experience for summer free study projects.
Through this project, New-Quick aims to provide an opportunity for parents and children to learn about edible oils and food safety, and to deepen their interest in daily food life.

Last year, in 2025, we selected participants by lottery from approximately 600 applications. The event included tours of the factory's filling lines and silos where raw materials are stored, as well as interactive exhibits at the "Nissin Oillio Oil Museum," a quiz on basic oil knowledge, and making original dressings. It was a day where parents and children enjoyed learning about how everyday oil is made and delivered to their tables.
