Netsys Japan Supporting the Tourism Industry
Netsys Japan participated as one of the collaborating companies in the program titled "[Develop Social Perspective and Problem-Solving Skills] Learn about diverse jobs in the hotel and tourism industry, and refine communication skills through problem-solving workshops."
In this program, students, who are usually in the position of "users," gained a deeper understanding of the thoughts and challenges of those on the front lines supporting the tourism industry, as well as the IT solutions that address them.
Furthermore, the program provided an opportunity to think from the perspective of a service provider about realizing comfortable accommodation experiences and smooth facility operations. Through this shift in perspective, the content allowed students to experience the appeal and rewards of the tourism industry.

On the Day
First Half (Lecture)
After explaining the current situation and challenges of the tourism industry, students had a simulated experience of a series of processes such as check-in, entry/exit, and check-out, using some of our total solutions, including systems and equipment.

Second Half (Workshop)
Participants worked on a case study of a fictional accommodation facility, designed based on information we gathered from actual clients.
Participants identified "what the essential issues were" and considered optimal solutions under various constraints. Even within the limited time, they utilized the knowledge gained from the lecture, exchanged opinions, and refined their proposals.
Ultimately, highly complete proposals, including phased implementation processes, were presented, making it a practical learning experience.
The program concluded in a friendly atmosphere with recommendations for nearby restaurants.

Comments from Participants
"I hadn't paid much attention to systems before, but these systems are very well thought out, and I'd definitely like to observe such aspects when staying at hotels in the future. The talk was interesting, and the group work was fun. Thank you very much for today."
"It was great to hear so many interesting stories. I felt it was wonderful that your company's business is to provide total solutions, and that you are able to realize them. Also, each system pursues convenience, which I found excellent. Thank you very much for today."
"The explanation of the business content was very easy to understand, and I felt that it was a company that truly implements rather than just idealizes, so I resonated with many parts."
