THE KING OF FIGHTERS Dot Battle Adds New PvP Mode Champions Cup, Orochi Yashiro and Haohmaru

Netmarble announced that it has released a new update for THE KING OF FIGHTERS Dot Battle, developed by Netmarble Neo Inc. The update introduces the new PvP content Champions Cup, along with the new Legend Fighter Orochi Yashiro and the new pickup fighter Haohmaru. Champions Cup is a new multi-team PvP mode in which players battle using three teams of seven fighters each. It offers a different strategic experience from the existing 5-on-5 format. The mode is available only to players ranked within the top 50 in Ranking Battle and is held every weekend. As a high-difficulty PvP mode, victory depends heavily on fighter combinations and team composition. Special rewards will be available for top-ranking players. The new Legend Fighter Orochi Yashiro has also been added. He has the Cosmos attribute and Special synergy, and fights using exclusive skills such as Dancing Earth and Raging Earth. The wandering swordsman Haohmaru joins as a new pickup fighter. He belongs to the Fury synergy and can use signature skills including Secret Skill: Crescent Moon Slash and Tenha Seio Zan. Several events are also underway. Until May 27, the Orochi Yashiro Pickup Summon event doubles Orochi Yashiro’s appearance rate in Premium Summons, while the Red Rose Night 14-Day Login Bonus offers more than 10,000 Premium Points. Also running until May 27, the Fury Synergy Fighter Summon event increases the summon rate for fighters with Fury synergy. The Blue Spring Special Login Bonus offers rewards such as pickup fighter selection tickets, unique pet summon boxes and DNA. A new mini-game, Chang Koehan’s Iron Ball Brawl, has also been added as a fast-paced action mode where players defeat waves of enemies and can earn rubies daily by clearing stages. Limited-time events include Lucky Elfy, running from May 18 to May 23, where players can obtain the Legend Supporter Hattori Hanzo. The Adventure Book event, running from May 21 to June 4, introduces Haohmaru’s companion pets Hedgemaru and Alma.
