Starry Studio, a NetEase Games subsidiary, officially announced the start of Season 4, 'Gravity Abyss,' for the supernatural post-apocalyptic open-world survival game 'Once Human' today.

In this update, the physical laws of the Nalcott continent are heavily distorted, creating gravity-anomaly zones at specific locations. 'Metas' can obtain new rewards through aerial exploration and high-altitude combat, and experience multiplayer cooperative aerial battles against the massive threat known as 'Skyripper.'

Awakening of the Colossal 'Skyripper'—A New Era of Aerial Combat A crack has appeared in the sky over Nalcott, revealing the massive entity 'Skyripper.' This bio-mechanical beast is the source of the gravity anomalies in the new season world. Eventually, the Skyripper halts above high-altitude platforms, signaling the beginning of dangerous 'trials.'

Unlike traditional flat combat logic, this update introduces 3D aerial battles. Brave Metas must reach high-altitude platforms via temporal rifts to confront the Skyripper in vertical airspace.

Victory requires the entire squad to shift their spatial awareness. Players must utilize altitude differences to identify attack opportunities and evade wide-range AOE attacks, all while balancing aerial mobility with team coordination. Survivors who overcome the trials are rewarded with extensive challenges and loot.

Falling Relics and High-Risk 'Abyss Cores' As the Skyripper travels toward targets, it scatters 'Mutated Suitcases' along its flight path. Metas can utilize new aerial exploration abilities to retrieve these items while they are mid-air.

Squads must quickly eliminate aerial enemies and secure the loot before the relics drift out of reach. Additionally, sealed 'Abyss Cores' may be found within these scattered items. Metas can spend 'Gravity Crystals' to open them for significant rewards. Alternatively, unopened Abyss Cores can be freely traded among players. The choice between guaranteed profit or high-stakes rewards rests with the players.

'Starling' Mod Series and Progression Improvements Responding to community feedback, this update enables players to freely switch between 'NORMAL World' and the new 'Anomaly World.' This allows players to safely maintain their existing progress while engaging with new anomaly content.

To gain an advantage in vertical combat, the new 'Starling' mod series has been introduced. These mods enhance aerial damage and are highly effective in gravity-distorted environments. Furthermore, Nalcott's supernatural ecosystem is expanding with new 'Starling'-themed variants of Deviations, including Element Boy, Atomic Lighter, and Sandalamander.

Additionally, popular mods and Deviations from Season 1 are returning, providing players a second chance to complete their collections.

The laws of gravity have been broken, and the ultimate aerial threat has descended upon Nalcott. Join 'Once Human' Season 4 'Gravity Abyss' now to conquer the vertical skies and defeat the colossal bio-mechanical threat with your allies.
