■ About the Collaboration with Art Blocks Studio

This exhibition "Rain Blooms" is a collaborative project jointly developed by NEORT and the generative art sales platform Art Blocks Studio.

Art Blocks was founded in the United States as a curated sales platform for generative art and has been a leader in code-based expression worldwide. NEORT has previously engaged in international activities, but through this collaboration, it will further strengthen the distribution channels to deliver works by Japanese generative artists to overseas collectors and communities, primarily in the United States.

Starting with the release of "Rain Blooms," NEORT and Art Blocks will continue to develop ongoing projects that connect Japanese generative expressions to a global context, both in terms of sales and exhibitions.

■ Artist's Comment

In "Rain Blooms," I created a mechanism where visuals and sounds continuously change on the spot through the interaction of small elements, rather than a pre-completed video. I designed a unique cellular automaton, considering neighborhood definitions, multiple species, and life.
