Neko Fudousan Co., Ltd. has launched a crowdfunding campaign to establish "Neko-Fudousan.com," a nationwide portal site specialized in cat-friendly rentals. In recent years, the number of cats kept as pets has been increasing, and the related market, "Nekonomics," is said to have reached a scale of 3 trillion yen. However, the hurdle to "living with a cat" in Japanese rental housing remains high. Even if a property is listed as "pet negotiable," there are many cases where "dogs are OK, but cats are not." In one survey, while 18.3% of properties in Kumamoto City were pet-negotiable, only 5% allowed cats. This trend of few cat-friendly properties is common nationwide. Furthermore, general rental portal sites have had issues such as the inability to search for the number of cats allowed or facilities (like cat walks), and opaque initial costs. "Neko-Fudousan.com" was born to eliminate this "mismatch due to lack of information" between tenants, landlords, and real estate companies. Three features of "Neko-Fudousan.com": 1. Detailed search function specialized for cats (can filter by multi-cat ownership and facilities). 2. Eliminating anxiety with "estimated display" of initial costs. 3.
