Our company supports "April Dream," an initiative that makes April 1st a day to broadcast dreams. This press release outlines the dream of NEIGHVERSE Co., Ltd.
As NEIGHVERSE Co., Ltd. (Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture; CEO: Hirono Takahashi) approaches its one-year anniversary in June, we would like to share the "dreams" we wish to achieve over the next ten years.
It doesn't end with just creating. Breathing together and nurturing the "uniqueness" of the region. The future of regional branding that NEIGHVERSE will change from Nikko.
There is one sense of discomfort that our CEO Takahashi, who has handled more than 20 store designs in the architectural design field, has always felt. "The relationship with the client is severed upon completion/handover." Even though we have thought about the concept and the brand together during the store creation process, we are cut off from "its future" the moment the building is completed. Design is not something that ends once it is created. It is something to be nurtured together. That thought is the starting point of NEIGHVERSE.
While operating out of Nikko, we have witnessed the "limits of division of labor" in regional areas. As a result of getting by through outsourcing Web, PR, space, and SNS separately, the original charm of the region gets buried under superficial aesthetics and price competition.
In order to nurture the "uniqueness" of a region, there is a need for someone to connect everything in a single line, from the core of the brand to implementation and operation, and accompany the region over the long term. Becoming that running partner is the mission of NEIGHVERSE.
Our Dream: NEIGHVERSE 10-Year Vision
Dream 1: Shifting PR strategies of local/tourism DMOs from "ordering" to "co-nurturing design"
By taking on the design of PR strategies, content creation, and on-site operation all the way through, regional information dissemination becomes an "asset" instead of "consumption" for the first time. We have proven this through tourism PR in Nishikawa Town, Yamagata Prefecture, and workation PR in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture.
It is not about a flashy, one-off campaign, but about creating an accumulating transmission mechanism. That mechanism can only be designed by those who know the reality on the ground.
What we want to achieve in 10 years is to shift the PR of regions and stores from "something you order" to "something you nurture," and to increase the number of partners who grow businesses and regions together.
Dream 2: Establish "regional branding that lasts 100 years" by fusing spatial design and editing
The architectural eye that designs spaces, and the editing power that weaves a worldview with words, photos, and videos. Fusing these two is the core of regional branding that only NEIGHVERSE can do. At an accommodation facility in Nikko, we handled everything from interior concept design to shooting and creating PR materials, creating a state where "the space itself becomes the message."
