Necolico Co., Ltd. Concludes "Agreement on Cooperation for Monitoring Activities" with Bando City, Ibaraki Prefecture - Contributing to Regional Safety and Security through Elderly Monitoring

Necolico LLC (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Executive Officer: Taisuke Yamanaka) has concluded an "Agreement on Cooperation for Monitoring Activities" with Bando City, Ibaraki Prefecture (Mayor: Toshifumi Kimura), and will contribute to the enhancement of regional monitoring systems and the realization of safe and secure citizen lives in Bando City through the provision of the elderly monitoring service "Mamolico." In addition, "Mamolico" will be eligible for the "Bando City Subsidy for Monitoring Services for Elderly Living Alone," which is scheduled to start in fiscal year 2026. A portion of the usage fees will be subsidized, which is the first initiative of its kind in Ibaraki Prefecture. "Mamolico" has been used by many customers since its launch in 2021 as a service that monitors important family members by detecting refrigerator openings and closings. In February of this year, a new lineup of "human motion sensors" was announced, and we are further responding to the monitoring needs of more customers. Furthermore, we are promoting cooperation with local governments, and in fiscal year 2026, including Bando City, more than 15 local governments nationwide will be able to receive subsidies for its introduction. We are very pleased to participate in the monitoring activities promoted by Bando City and contribute to the realization of safe and secure citizen lives. Building a regional monitoring system amidst social changes such as a declining birthrate, aging population, and population decrease is a common challenge faced by many local governments. With the development of IoT technology, related populations, such as children living outside the city, who previously found it difficult to participate in regional monitoring, can now become monitors.
