Fukushima Health Association Launches NEC Health Checkup Result Prediction Simulation via LINE Official Account

The Fukushima Health Association has partnered with NEC and NEC Solution Innovators to launch the 'NEC Health Checkup Result Prediction Simulation' via its LINE official account, aiming to improve customer satisfaction and increase the value of health checkups.

This service visualizes future trends in test values and the risk of developing lifestyle-related diseases based on health checkup results, while proposing lifestyle improvements.

By doing so, the association provides a new service that helps people review their health status in daily life, rethink their lifestyle habits, and take steps toward better health, moving beyond simply receiving and checking health reports.

[Background]
While interest in the prevention and early detection of lifestyle-related diseases is growing, health checkup results are often only checked temporarily when they arrive, and few people continue to monitor them, which makes it difficult to lead to behavioral changes.
Therefore, the Fukushima Health Association introduced the NEC Health Checkup Result Prediction Simulation in collaboration with NEC and NEC Solution Innovators to provide a service that helps users understand their own disease risks based on checkup results.

[About the Service]
In this initiative, the service is provided through the LINE official account, a communication tool users utilize daily. It aims to make risk prediction easily accessible without requiring the installation of new apps.

1. Predicting Test Values and Lifestyle-related Disease Risks
The system displays the predicted values for 12 test items over 1 to 3 years and the risk of developing 18 lifestyle-related diseases within 4 years, compared to peers of the same gender and age group.

2. Supporting Risk Improvement through Simulation
By simulating changes in test values and disease risks through lifestyle modifications, the system suggests effective improvement plans.

This is expected to help users understand their health checkup results not just as 'numbers,' but as 'future prospects,' leading to increased awareness of preventive behavior.

[Future Outlook]
Starting with this initiative, the Fukushima Health Association is considering further ways to support behavioral change and self-care beyond just the 'visualization' of results. The association aims to become a total healthcare solution organization by promoting DX.
NEC and NEC Solution Innovators will continue to leverage AI and digital technology to contribute to the development of services that enhance the health awareness of each individual.
