What is "NearMe Spot"?
NearMe Spot is a virtual stop designed to make travel to the airport more affordable and smoother. Currently, there are 53 NearMe Spots for Haneda Airport airport shuttle routes.
NearMe Spots are strategically located based on past airport shuttle usage data, in areas where transfers to the airport are common or where direct transportation options to the airport are limited. By placing them in easily accessible locations within daily living areas such as residential districts, near train stations, and commercial areas, and by making "share a ride" more likely to occur, we aim not only to reduce the burden of travel but also to contribute to reducing travel costs with our pricing structure.
By utilizing NearMe Spots, travel from various locations in Tokyo to Haneda Airport is possible from 2,480 yen (tax included), enabling more accessible and economical travel.
For example, when using the airport shuttle normally from Shinjuku Station, the fare is approximately 40% of a regular taxi fare*1. Furthermore, if you board the airport shuttle with a NearMe Spot as your origin or destination, it becomes even more economical than usual. By setting the boarding point as a communal gathering point within your living area, it is possible to reduce airport travel expenses.
Additionally, through service integration with various route search apps, a mechanism has been built where NearMe's airport shuttle is displayed as one of the options when searching for travel from certain stations to the airport. This initiative aims to make "share a ride," a new affordable and smooth means of transportation, recognized and experienced by more people as an option.
Moving forward, to provide an affordable and smooth travel experience, we will actively promote collaborations with travel-related services, in addition to strengthening services such as increasing the number of NearMe Spots.
