Nature Architects, a company specializing in vehicle development using generative shape generation, high-speed simulation, and AI optimization, has partnered with Ryobi Limited to develop aluminum die-cast prototypes that achieve new functions through shape design. These prototypes will be presented at the Automotive Engineering Exposition 2026 YOKOHAMA.

Background of the Collaboration Ryobi supplies diverse aluminum die-cast products to major global automakers. These products are known for being lightweight, high-strength, and highly dimensionally accurate. Nature Architects utilizes an approach based on Generative Engineering to add functions through shape, without altering material properties. Through this collaboration with Ryobi, the companies aim to propose design possibilities that transcend traditional aluminum die-casting.

About the Exhibition Samples 1. Flex Die-cast: Incorporates vibration absorption and deformation functions through geometry, proposing solutions for multi-material joining and part consolidation. 2. Bounce Die-cast: Adds a spring function to die-castings through shape, presenting possibilities for precision parts vibration control.

In this collaboration, Nature Architects is responsible for shape design and analysis, while Ryobi is providing material property data and manufacturing the exhibition pieces.
