IT, Telecom, Gaming, and Esports Companies/Organizations are Joining Rapidly!

NASEF JAPAN (Network of Academic and Scholastic Esports Federations Japan), an international educational esports organization with over 650 affiliated high schools nationwide, has introduced a 'Regular Member System' for companies and organizations, aiming to establish a nationwide network in conjunction with its 5th anniversary on April 1, 2026.

In Japan, with the advancement of Digital Transformation (DX), the shortage of digital talent is becoming severe. According to a survey by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, there is a potential shortage of up to approximately 790,000 IT professionals by 2030. Under these circumstances, the importance of society-wide efforts—including schools, companies, and local communities—to develop the next generation of digital talent is increasing.

NASEF JAPAN has been working on developing next-generation talent, mainly high school students, by promoting digital education and inquiry-based learning using esports and games as an entry point. They also provide educational support in collaboration with high schools nationwide through events like the 'NASEF JAPAN All Japan High School Esports Championship' and the provision of educational materials.

The newly launched 'Regular Member System' is a new mechanism to further expand these activities across the country. They are broadly calling for the participation of companies and organizations that agree with NASEF JAPAN's philosophy.
