What is Japan Food Selection?
It is Japan's first food and ingredient evaluation and certification system, where 23,000 food analysts (food specialists) certified by the Japan Food Analyst Association conduct evaluations.
Evaluations are strictly conducted based on 100 checklist items, including safety and branding, taking into account the delicate Japanese palate, preferences, and food culture.
Only products scoring 90 points or more out of 100 are selected for the Grand Prix, and this time, Narita Airport Ale (Saison) Bottle was able to win the Grand Prix with a total score of 94 points.
